Applied Stoic is committed to ensuring this site is accessible to all visitors, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, which is the standard most widely recognized as the basis for legal accessibility compliance.

What We Are Doing

We have designed this site with accessibility in mind from the outset. Our current accessibility measures include the following.

All images include descriptive alternative text.
Heading structure follows a logical hierarchy on every page.
Color contrast ratios meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
The site is navigable by keyboard without a mouse.
Font sizes are set in relative units and respect browser-level text size preferences.
The site does not use content that flashes more than three times per second.
All form fields include visible labels.
Links use descriptive anchor text rather than generic phrases such as "click here."

Known Limitations

We are an independent publication with limited resources. While we strive for full accessibility compliance, we may not have identified every accessibility issue on the site. We are committed to addressing issues as they are identified.

We will respond within five business days and work to address the issue as quickly as possible.
